 Happy Baby Minimize

 What is Elimination Communication? Minimize
Your dog has to go. He tells you that he has to go by finding you and giving you a "look". You let him out of the house to go potty. Does this mean that you are house trained? Of course not. Are you pressuring him to perform a task he's not ready for? After all, he can't dress and undress himself. He can't say "peepee" or "poopoo". He can't get on and off the toilet by himself. He can't turn door handles. He's not even 2 years old yet!! Why do you help him get to an appropriate place to relieve himself?

Why not just put diapers on him? Because you know he can do three things:
1. Control his bowel and bladder for a little while.
2. Communicate his need to you.
3. Release his bowel and bladder once he reaches the right spot.

Well, guess what! So can a baby.

Expect how-to photo tutorials and videos here soon. Until then, go to TribalBaby.org.

You are a Master Babywearer Minimize
In China, it is said that "A master is anyone who knows more than you do." So, you are all master babywearers compared with most of the moms in the world. You do NOT need to know everything there is to know about babywearing -- if you know even ONE carry with even ONE type of carrier, you are in possession of knowledge other moms desperately want -- even if they do not yet know they want it. ;-D Therefore, you should all feel confident enough to teach others! So, pick a public place, pick a day of the week, and start sharing your skills with other families! Then, list yourself here.
