Baby is NOT hanging by her arms. Rather, the cloth is hold Baby's chest firmly to Mama's back. If Baby is too low or too loose, she could come right out. Always check your work!

Strap Carry -- the Easiest Two Shoulder Back Carry EVER Minimize
Hold your baby with your left arm, and the cloth with your right arm. Find the center of the cloth by holding it up high, and making the ends even. Lay the baby on your left arm, face down, in the "football hold", with her face near your hand and her diaper at the crook of your elbow.
Put the center of the cloth in the middle of baby's back. Now, move your right hand to the front of baby's chest and hold the "lasso" around her chest with your right hand. Move your left hand back from baby's chest to baby's belly.
With your left hand under baby's belly, lift her up to your shoulder. Lay her over your shoulder with your left hand. Continue to also hold the baby with the cloth held tightly by your right hand.
In your right hand, hold the cloth and the baby's right arm. In your left hand, hold the cloth and the baby's left arm. The baby's weight is supported by your body, you hold her arms to keep her from wiggling or rolling.
Continue holding baby's arms securely, and you position her on the middle of your back. Her face should be right behind your neck. Her left arm should be over your left shoulder. Her right arm should be over your right shoulder.
Continue holding baby's arms securely. Lean forward so that the baby's weight is supported by your back. Transfer the hold of the baby from gripping her arms to gripping the cloth tightly. You will pull down on the cloth towards the floor. The cloth should be around baby's body, and this is what holds the baby securely.
See how I am pulling down on the cloth firmly? Also, note that I am leaning forward and that the baby's weight is supported by my back.
Continue to pull on the wrap so that the tension of the cloth around the baby's back is firm. Reach behind you and cross the cloth under the baby's bottom.
Your right hand should give the right cloth to your left hand and vice versa.
See how the cloth is crossed under baby's bottom? The baby's legs are between your back and the cloth.

Bring the cloth around to the front and tie around your waist. This saree is very long; ordinarily I would wrap it around my waist again. However, I wanted to show that you can do Kimiko's favorite back carry with only three or four yards (9 to 12 feet) of fabric, depending on your build. For comfort, be sure to spread out the cloth near the shoulders, and also be sure that the baby is very close to your body and wrapped firmly.
If you wear baby this way for a long time, you should shift positions to avoid fatigue. Leaning forward, untie the front.
Continue leaning forward, uncross the back.
With the right cloth in the right hand, and the left cloth in the left hand, pull (down towards the floor) on the ends of the cloth. This re-tightens the cloth so that baby will continue to be wrapped firmly.
Continue leaning forward, cross the cloth between your breasts.
To avoid pressure on your breasts, you can twist the cloth 2-3 times.
Continue leaning forward, continue pulling on the cloth, bring the ends back to cross under baby's legs again.
This is Kimiko's favorite carry, with a front cross.
Okay, so do you want to know how to get the baby down?
Leaning forward, untie the front, uncross the back.
Continue to pull on the wrap so that the tension of the cloth around the baby's back is firm. Hold both sides of cloth in your right hand, pulling firmly. This allows you to hold the baby around her back so that her chest stays firmly pressed to your back. Reach behind yourself with your left arm. Grab baby's right thigh. Tilt your body to the left.
Grab the baby's bottom with your right hand also.

All done! Happy babywearing!

This cotton saree is 45 inches by 6 yards (18 feet). Most people can do this carry with a cloth 22 to 45 inches wide and 4 to 6 yards long. The lighter the weight of the cloth, the wider it should be for comfort.

You are a Master Babywearer Minimize
In China, it is said that "A master is anyone who knows more than you do." So, you are all master babywearers compared with most of the moms in the world. You do NOT need to know everything there is to know about babywearing -- if you know even ONE carry with even ONE type of carrier, you are in possession of knowledge other moms desperately want -- even if they do not yet know they want it. ;-D Therefore, you should all feel confident enough to teach others! So, pick a public place, pick a day of the week, and start sharing your skills with other families! Then, list yourself here.
